"The error report gives me the error "& must be written as &" even if the '&' is part of an URL."
The error message is correct. Even in URLs (for example, in: <A HREF="xyz?param1¶m2>) the '&' must be written as '&'. When parsing the HTML code the web browser will translate all occurrences of '&' into '&' and therefore all URLs will be valid when they are used.

"I have problems with my.yahoo. What can I do?"
my.yahoo uses cookies to grant access to the personal web sites. Unfortunately my.yahoo does this in a really bad way. It sends the needed cookies only if the browser identifies itself as "Mozilla". If the browser has another name, it will never get any cookies from yahoo. To use iCab with my.yahoo you should accept cookies, at least for the domain "yahoo.com" and also, set the browser name to "Mozilla" (open "Network/HTTP, Proxies" in the preferences dialog and select "Mozilla").
"Is iCab able to use my preferred e-mail or FTP client?"
Yes. Open "Network/Internet protocols" in the preferences dialog and
deselect "MAILTO" or "FTP", if iCab should start the preferred mail or FTP client instead of handling this protocol itself.
"What about contextual menus? Do they open automatically when I keep the mouse button pressed?"
Yes, iCab is able to do this. You can configure (Preferences dialog: Browser operation) iCab so that contextual menus open automatically after a delay; or open only when the Control key is pressed and the mouse is clicked (this is the standard behavior that is suggested by Apple).
"Are there any limitations in the 68K version?"
The 68K version does not support Java. Also there's no support for the new features unique to MacOS 8.5 (e.g. proportional scroll bars, appearance themes). MacOS 8.1 was the last OS that runs on 68K Macs.
"I'm getting web pages with black text on black background on my black and white display."
Use the following settings in preferences dialog (HTML display panel): Use white as background color and black for all the other colors. Also switch off the option "Use colors defined by page".
